howdy

Food is my first language.
Having an American mother and a South African father meant a childhood split between two countries. Going back and forth, I was exposed to cuisines from various cultures. Not to mention, my parents were chefs... so this apple didn’t fall too far from the tree.
In 2012, I began my pastry studies at the Culinary Institute of America in New York, and then continued to work in various positions rounding out my culinary experience.
In the studio, I feel at home and love connecting with other artists of the trade. When I’m not on set, I’m teaching a yoga class, cooking around a campfire, or dancing in my living room.
